Rated 5 out of 5 by chellejohn from Easier on the PC! I own this game on my PC and just uploaded the Mac version. It's actually harder on the Mac than the PC version (IMHO)! The graphics are arguably better on the Mac, but there is a delay on Mac in sending things off for 'processing' that I don't have on my PC. I also had an issue upgrading factories on the mac its different than the PC and in the midst of the game doesn't really tell you what to do (but you'll figure it out). In addition, I only played the 1 hour version on my Mac, and the game 'UN-expectantly' quit on me twice. Something about when these software companies use a rapid tool to convert, dunno, do they not test it in full?
However, in the grand scheme of things this is an awesome game to play if you've never played it, I think you'll have a great time! Regarding a previously comment that the bears are hard to catch, that is true on the PC and Mac, and you need to upgrade your cage, which hopefully you can do shortly after level 3-4. The game is fun'ish to play. The graphics are basic. I loved the classic buildings of the old Farm Frenzy and the speedy click'ish frenzy for when you have a few seconds left and you need that cake to finish the level on gold:) The BIG problem is with the LAG! When you want to click a produce or a building it has a BIG lag.
You have to click it twice or three times to collect that produce or start processing something. If the penguin is walking upwards, toward the well, for example, you have to wait a few seconds until you can collect the egg behind it (and penguins are lazy). Prepare to upgrade the cage ASAP, as the bears are really hard to catch.
The caging surface is quite small and you can easily miss it and you click like crazy to catch it. Also, a thumbs down: when you point your mouse on a building it does not say how many items will it manufacture, you have to guess or remember the way the buildings look like when they can manufacture x2 or x3. This quick info is quite helpful when you build your 'strategy'. Rated 1 out of 5 by MarieKai from Way to hard to click bears The bears are way too hard to click. The difficulty caused the game play to be tedious instead of fun.
You spend the leveI focused on getting rid of the bears so they don't fling your farm animals. Then you realize that all the products you are making disappear because it took too long to cage the bears. I tried pausing the caging to pick up products but would wind up loosing my far animals. It seemed as if the area for bear caging was way to narrow as I noticed that often times when I thought I was caging them, I was just laying fish down through the bear. I usually enjoy the Farm Frenzy games.
